When can I expect to see a change from female.to male
Maybe next month, maybe never. It's based on the hierarchy in your tank, and there's no way to predict such, unfortunately.

Thank you

I know what it is, but colors have changed lately...

(and for everyone else's sake, it's C. rubeus)
Just transitioning to male...

This guy hides under a rock all the time. I’ve had him three years. He just started to come out and now spitting gravel on corals.

Invisible wrasse! :P
(missing pic)

Would take a better picture for me to hazard a guess. :D This may be a challenge even for Hunter!

Well, there's a Bartlett anthias, and then there's a small, not focused, shadowy-dark fish, maybe a squid, in a shadow. ;Woot

Might you have a better photo of the subject? :P

I’d like to put another wrass in there but worried about suitability with this one. I like a peaceful tank

At least it's bigger in that one, but the quality isn't much better...
Could be an orchid dottyback for all I can see there. o_O

He’s teasing me lol then all the others want a pic. Maybe now

I can't ID your wrasse, because it's not a wrasse.
Pseudochromis porphyreus

What color changes except the head change? I can't find pics of terminal male of it. Anything change besides the purple head?
It's mostly the coloration of the fins that increases. And the blue markings become more prominent.

Thank you for the id! What is a good community wrass for my tank? I have a scopas, sailfin, two big cardinals a rabbit fish and three anthias also a clown and what not 130 gal

That is not a good dottyback for a community tank. Aggressive little guy.

I need some help on this one.
All joking aside: how have you been!?
Also this one is very aggressive for a typical flasher. Never hides, I see him flashing the anthias, sixline wrasses, melanurus, and sometimes even me. Think he’s Just a super male being macho or something else going on?
