Bought this fish purposely to treat it. You guess and give your opinions and I'll tell you mine.

The last picture makes me say flukes. The others aren't clear enough to get a good picture. Kinda looks like the scales are coming up so I'd say infection of some sort. Of course assuming these are of the same fish then I'm going to stick with flukes.

I bought this fish because it looked like flukes to me in the store. He's also got some frayed fins and discoloration. He's definetely been rubbing against rocks, yawning, (which IMO is consistent with Flukes), but eats like a horse. He doesn't hide or anything like that. With the discoloration and almost sore like areas, It's likely he's suffering from a bacterial infection as well. Not sure. So he got a 5 min (fresh RO water) dip twice. Of course the water was temp adjusted and I hyper oxygenated the water. Now he's in Prazipro. In the first dip, I used a clear container and did not see any flukes come off. A black container was used for the second dip. which provided really good contrast. Still nothing observed. Flukes can be so small that I may have missed them using the clear container. One thing is certain, he's looking better now. Also, I'm not sure if you guys can see it, but the skin was raised like the culprit burrowed under the skin in two areas. I'm not sure if this is consistent with Flukes or not, but it may be something other than flukes. He did exhibit the classic Fluke signs though which is why I'm leaning in that direction. After dipping him, I did not see anything on the body like before.
