Yes, they are. The crocea is in my main tank, and the derasa is in my clam and acro cube tank. All connected in the same system, though.Very nice. Are these in different tanks?
The derasa is probably 6ish inches in length right now and growing fast. I had one before that was around a foot in length and very wide. Beautiful creatures!Be careful - they grow fast once they’re happy!
Both of them are beautiful, how big is that deresa? It looks Atleast 4 inches in length.
Several Crocea and Maxima I current have
Yes they are. You can see the reflection of the light L lower corner of the picture. Those look great. Are they under the home depot floods?
That is a very nice Crocea, an unusual coloration. What does he look like under normal white, full spectrum light? Blue light often hide/remove colors from clams. My two:

I'll try to take a picture today. He is a nice turquoise blue with a greenish trim. Pretty similar to what's shown in the photo but a bit more vibrant. I knew I had to have him as soon as I saw him for auction. That is a very nice Crocea, an unusual coloration. What does he look like under normal white, full spectrum light? Thanks when I first purchased this beauty it was like not even an inch.On a clam cradle too! Nice color pattern.
I have not got them yet this time. I am worried about the cold and the holiday shipping, but they reassured me that they will be on the hook if there is anything goes wrong.
I did and it died. I got my last one from Saltwater Aquarium. Next day shipping. Heat pack was cool when it arrived.Have you ever ordered from Pacific East Aquaculture?
I have clam fever right now which isn't good.
That doesn't sound good. Maybe I'll have to wait till it warms up again.I did and it died. I got my last one from Saltwater Aquarium. Next day shipping. Heat pack was cool when it arrived.
If you want to order any clams/coral in the winter keep a very close eye on the weather. If you catch a mild spell where it stays in the 30's at night you're golden if the shipper is under 24 hrs. Shipping anything right now with the holiday and blizzard/polar front is a fool's errand. I would wait till the week after New Years. That doesn't sound good. Maybe I'll have to wait till it warms up again.
