Alright all, it's settled. I'll get on the thread and get some pics up.

Before you are disappointed thinking it's a massive tank/system, it's only a 34g Salano cube...

Hey dmatt88- I think your squamosa would greatly appreciate a good shell scrubbing to rid it of those nems. It looks like the mantle is getting stung.

I've never pulled a clam out of water due to the fear of getting oxygen into the clam. I have ap x its just at the bottom of my dt n when I move it the aips close up.

........what, me worry?

taking clams out of water doesnt hurt them at all. The trick is once you put him back in to roll the clam to make sure you get any trapped air bubbles out. Ill also make sure to point the 'mouth' toward the surface and give a slight shake that will dislodge any air bubbles that might get caught. Also if you slowly put the clam back into the water, that gives the water time to enter the clam's cavity and not introduce air bubbles that way

This light purple, silver and gold tear drop maxima is my current favorite. It sits dead center under my LED which makes it hard to photograph.
DSCN0627.jpg

It's only about 2" in length. the small blue maxima behind it is about 1" in length.
