Yes I am in dyer need of some wire management!
The metal locker is a industrial grade metal locker made by Hoffman it’s a UL listed cabinet /Locker . I believe they are normally used on airliners .
For now, until I build the GHL cabinet and finish what I've already got, display is upstairs 200 gallon...
Nowhere near as sophisticated as some of you all but it gets the job done! Considering adding a controller at some point...we’ll see.
This may have been addressed and I just did not see it. Is the PL Touch connected with a pab cable or is it wireless?
PAB Cable to module for the Touch, then USB cable from module to display. This way you can mount the touch flush if you'd like with a smaller cable.
The module also has 2 PAB ports like all of our gear has, 1 in, 1 out to allow piggy backing for more devices.
I am about to start a new build on my SCA Rimless 150 which includes a 20'' Synergy External Overflow box that I will be plumbing plus a little custom cabinet for my ProfiLux4 Ultimate kit!
I haven't even plugged in my new GHL Controller, yet... lol.. I am just waiting on a few more thing like my GHL Maxi SA Dosing pump for my Automatic Water changes. It's crazy I ordered in January and got on the list, but my supplier has not got them in yet from Germany but he will. Just need to get a couple more items from @GHL and I will be ready to go!
Hopefully in the next 2-4 weeks I will be starting my build Thread in the members tank area. I can tell you on thing, I am very anxious to get my system and my saltwater mixing station up and running. Few tearer Pixs below

jumping on this older thread... by doser just crashed again.. Aquamedic.. done with them.. GHL I am looking into.. i have a pretty heft neptune system. looking at theGHL 2.1 .. any updates on if this unit can work with Neptune.. i assume not.. but thought i would ask. any issues on lift if the dose products are lets say 14 inches below the pumps.
How good is the unit at keeping the liquid ready to do.. in otherwords no break in the syphone. did i spell that right? anyways.. my aquamedic i had i always had to use air check valves ect to keep it going.. really a pain...
how did you attach the box that hold the doser and controller to the cab. I regionally did mine in a box just like that and then went for the floating look with acrylic.
By the way I may do my next build wit the ghl controller. Is it easier to program than the Apex? I know when I got the doser it was easy to use but information was hard to get. I not a fan of the Apex but the one thing it has is a helpful community that will give you a program for everything. I do not have the time to mess around with programming. I cant wait for the day there no longer is programming and it can all be done from a web interface.
* does not work with apex, but the standalone doser has it's own controller built in, the slaves will work off a standalone or ProfiLux
* 14" of lift is no problem at all, can be much higher and still see proper flow
* No issues with flow through/syphon - since it's a multi-roller head, at least one is always engaged to keep the liquid in place.
** No need for check valves etc.
Here's my doser...
Here’s my set up, there’s a 2:1 doser and a further plugbar at the other end of the tank
Here is my current set up. Not in the picture is another power bar and the KH director and it’s dosing pump under the aquarium stand. This outside in my garage. Love all the wires and hose lines. This would not be possible on my stand. An I am too old and I crawl around on the floor 7 days a week at work so I now can keep track of my equipment easily.
I know I am always adding to it.
I do PLC work for a living so this is just a small part of the equipment I use.
