:cry:Hey Guys,
I'm in a bit of a quandary.
I have (had) a Current Outer Orbit MH fixture. It had 150 w 14k bulbs in it with actinics.
Last night, my DH smelled something burning. It seems it was on of the actinic light portions. I immediately unplugged the fixture and have not had it back on since.
Problem is, I have alot of SPS and need my lights.
Do you think I should just buy another fixture, or should I try to get that one repaired. I guess I should say that I am not 100% sure that the smell was coming from the light, but I THINK that it was. I didn't see any smoke or a fire. The actinics had been on earlier in the night and all of a sudden the light was off and there was a burning odor.
Thoughts? If you think I should get another fixture, what do you suggest.
The Outer Orbit was a bit cumbersome to use because the legs on it are short and it's hard to get your arm in the tank around it.
Thanks!

The end caps could have fried. I've had that happen a few times on my Aqua Medic fixture (250W). You can replace the end caps without too much pain. Sounds like you really want something else, though;). Check the bulbs and if they have receptacles to slide into, that isn't your problem;).
