lighting and feeding for a 56 gallon

I have never had a saltwater tank before. I have always had fresh and finally got into salt. My questions are #1- i want to start my light cycle for my corals ( once I get some) later so I can enjoy it at night. I plan on my blues coming on around 11am can I feed the fish before the light comes on cause I head to workaround 8 am so I won't be home when the light comes on. My second question is how much to feed and how many times a day. Right now I have two clowns a cardinal fish, a orange shoulder tang and a diamond watchmen goby so far. The normal feeding I have been doing so far is once a day in the morning and rotating pellets one day and mysis shrimp the next. Then doing some green marine algae three times a week. Should I be feeding twice a day or what? Any info on this will be great. Thanks

Your feeding schedule sounds fine to me. Monitor your fish and if they look fat and healthy then your doing the right thing. If they are getting thin then up the feedings. I try to feed as often as possible without overfeeding and creating too much waste.
