Hello everyone.
I’m a newbie to the saltwater aquarium world.
I’d like to ask...... why does the factory light on the Fluval Evo 13.5 turn on full bright and the second tap goes to blue? I personally think it should be the other way around. I like the lid and it’s appearance. What are your thoughts? Thanks in advance for your feedback

yep, wacky design.
I kept the hood and upgraded to 2 ReefBrite 15" LumiLite Actinic strips.
Best Fluval upgrade I've found.

How do you have them attached?
They fit in there perfectly. I just cut out a piece of lexan that I got from Home Depot to put underneath them to keep the salt spray off them other than that you just run the cord where you normally would and plug them into a timer

Do you have a link to the ones your have on your tank?
Yes! They are Coral growing machines. When I upgrade to my new 75 long, I will use only ReefBrite.

Some people will, however prefer to mix one actinic with one 50/50. Mine is 100% actinic, which I know some people are all jammed up about. (until they go diving on an actual coral reef in the ocean and realize that all you see is blue). Also, if you have ever dived over deep ocean you see one thing; blue.

So not sure why the hate for blue reef lighting.

I found it. In some reason, 15" is rare. I ordered two:)

I received it. It's perfect fit.
100% actinic. Color looks much better in person. It's dimmable. Less hotter than stock light.
This must be best fluval evo 13.5 upgrade.

Max Par is now 220!
Was 150 (white and blue) and 50 (only blue)
