Just swapped my Radion XR30s for ATI Stratons, can anyone recommend a good lighting schedule for them I can copy for a (young and lightly stocked) mixed reef tank?

I was in same situation as launch and info out was rather sparse all around and ATI support in social media is kinda confusing. Light is simple and well made though. Needs to last 6-8 years to be cost competitive with T5 bulbs. In all honesty nothing will beat 8x 54 dimmable T5 fixture. We are all accepting a technology let down. Coverage on ATI Sunpower was perfect!!. I recommend using stratons Edge to edge of tank at 10" off tank and 30 percent output for starters. It is best alternate LED solution to date. I had early Ecotech and hated them. If you download the appendix in ATI, you see the light have reasonable preset spectrums and I do trust engineers at ATI to produce ones that are not trendy and useful. I am also tempted to turn all sliders to 100 percent full except red but did Palakitiv preset below to get blues/UV at dusk.

I used an 4 foot 8 bulb dimmable fixture 9" over tank. I ran a very reliable bulb selection of 4x ATI blue plus, 2 Coral Plus and 2 Actinic. These were ramped up to 75 percent for 8 or so hrs and I filled up tank with SPS several times before lamp got flicker disease. I felt like buying new dimmable ballasts and sockets was silly as bulbs are on way out and not assurance it would work long term.

I upgrade to two A153s and would have been happy with two 204s as well over 4 foot tank. I am not a fan of ecotech pucks. I would have needed 3 to 4 and just no.

Set up was bit rough at first. Skip mobile app entirely. All i needed was a correct half pager in end not explicit enough in instructions.

0. Delete ATI Straton app if downloaded.
1. What worked was using a low security TP Link router and leaving the ATI Stratons on factory network settings.
2. Using Win 11, configure one device at a time. Find device with command prompt C:\ ARP -a.
3. Type ATI default IP address in MS Edge (Not Chrome!!!) and use admin/admin.
4. Spend ample time putting ballasts in very cool dry place up high on other side of tank wall if possible.

Interface is basic and stable from there. Device will have 2 to 4 channels each. I run them all the same.

I used preset SPS Palkativ std for one hour less than preset and 30% output lower than 50% preset for starters. PAR calculator is fine for most purposes. I will take output back up to 50% output slowly over months. My tank is overgrown and just getting health back up to perfect for a few months before resetting entire tank. I will likely turn up UV and turn down red as my own preset in future. I think most would be better of setting and leaving alone.

Tons of power with this lamp. Maxwell ballasts are used and kinda funky inline break out box for configuring. I could see this needing an upgrade during life of lamp. Blending of color is fine and height over tank is crucial as well as good air ventilation for panel.

As a Straton pro gen2 204 owner. Very nice design and efficient. Runs relatively cool; 30c after 12hr photoperiod.
App and web based programming is clunky, but manageable.

Do download your file and can be programmed via a text editor. File will download as a *.json. About as tedious as moving nodes via a smart phone, web browser.

Ramp up and down can cycle banks of leds, creating a simulated sunrise/sunset.

Full adjustable of spectrum. Presets covers most hobbyists, Custum spectrums can be made and saved.

File download, as power lost to units ballast will offset internal clock, may also reset file to default. FYI.

Expect average LED Lifespan of 100k hours before spectral shift and lower PAR Output.

One advantage is ATI assembly the banks as units. May be possible to overhaul light at age. ATI has good customer support and will be able to answer any questions. But by setting he LEd as banks, if a diode fails, or bank shorts; doesn’t mean you are I. The market for a new fixture.

I just used the mixed tank template which matched the spectrum I was using with my radions almost exactly. I also matched intensity using a PAR meter. From there, it is just a matter of slowly changing the spectrum to whatever I visually like.

I actually have some spare parts for these due to a warranty hardware issue I had. I agree, the modular design is very nice. Super easy to swap out the controller board or one of the 4 light banks.
