lights on and 125

I have a 6' 125 tank and I was wondering would 5 kessil 360we be to much on the tank. Going to try and keep sps but didn't know if it would be over kill. Or should I run 3 of them and supplements a different light with them. And how should I angle them.

Each 360we covers 2x2 foot area so 3 should do it

Yes they cover a 2x2 area on the bottom. But You want more or else you will have to put sps in 3 spots under the source. Light and par come down off the light in a cone shape. This said you don't get 2x2 coverage at the top of the tank.

If your going to have a canopy I'd do 4 and then supplement with t5s. A lot of people say their tanks look dim with just kessel.

The more and more I look at lighting options for my own tanks the more I want radions with t5's
