I have a tank that has 100's of keyhole limpets from tiny to about 1/8 of an inch. How do I irradiate them. Really hate the way the way they look all over the glass and rocks.

I have a few fish, corals and rock with good coralline algae, would a freshwater bath kill the limpets but leave the algae covered rocks unscathed? I know the corals can't have a freshwater bath but the other rocks might.

Thanks

Troy

Some starfish and green wrasse will eat them if out of hand.

I just bought a bottle of “coralline algae in a bottle” from Arc Reef and on the sheet it says to remove urchins and limpets from the tank because their primary diet is coralline algae. I’ve had my tank for almost 2 years and have no coralline. I do have an incredible amount of limpets. So, any and all suggestions for removal are welcome!

For those curious, here is the sheet included with the “coralline algae in a bottle.” The urchin and limpet suggestion is in bold letters, last sentence in the 2nd to last paragraph.
