A little starfish came with a zoa colony, I would assume it is some kind of Asterina, it is very small, about 1cm or less than half an inch. Orangish/reddish color but 10 legs!

I have no problems with Asterinas, I welcome them in my tank, but this is something I've never seen before, the color is new, and the number of legs too. It moves pretty fast relative to its size. Very active.

Is it reef safe (I know the controversial reputation of Asterinas), or definitely not?

Thanks!

Resembles a crown of thorns starfish, definitely remove if it is!
