I checked 501 to a 1000. But who am I kidding proably more. My hubby and I are both addicted. Hey it's cheaper than taking family to the movies every weekend.
My aquapod was free, the rock was hand made so for me almost free.
I bought an aquacultured duncan for $100
A blue spot jawfish $140
A cleaner shrimp $25(jawfish killed)
A funky wrasse for $110 that will eventually have to be removed from the tank(no way to keep a 3' wrasse in a 12 gallon tank).
A blue bullseye mushroom for $20.
Two aquacultured elegance corals I think $150 each.
A candy cane for $30.
Two mexican turbos $5.
One cerith snail and one blue leg hermit crab $11.(overpaid a little on these).
Everything else was traded or taken from my brother and buddies.
My buddy is hopefully getting an aussie shipment in this week and I am jumping on a bunch of them. So my checkbook will be gone.
My husband and I work as a team. We can spend anywhere from 200 to 300 on a weekend. We went out today picked up a green monti that has to be 9'' in diameter for 40.00 what a deal it's a beauty, we where at our lfs and spent another 150.00 I have an order being shipped from Mr.coral was 79.00. Needless to say our 210 is well stocked,
ummmmmm, wow, i guess i am even a level up as i spent more on my last order than most of you spend a year..... but all i say is it was worth way more than i spent...... one of the frags if i fragged it i could get 1k for(blackjack micros)(10+ heads)..... and i got 30+ micros frags all with approx 5-10 polyps each.... spent 2.5K..... can anyone say help, i need a bigger tank, my 120 is getting stocked full!!!!!!!!!!! i have made it threw my first two steps to recovery....
step 1- admit you have a problem
step 2- ask for help
With a new setup this last year I have spent about $6000 and still going, but I don't really have other hobbies and my wife likes the tank so she is cool with it, so far.
