Any idea what this thing is? Found this one on the live rock - have also found a couple on the edges of the glass. Its a long white worm that kind of coils itself like this. Originally thought it was the zooanxthellae released by my hammers but after seeing this one changing that assumption

I'm not sure what worm it is if it is indeed a worm?
But looks like snail eggs.
Does it move or stay in same place all time?
Other than that I just be guessing sorry
Any thoughts on which? I have trochus, bumblebee, nessarius and cerith in the tank. Be interesting if there was a way to tell, although the size of it might make trochus the winner - the nessarius are pretty large but I never see em on the rocks.

Yeah, looks like standard cerith eggs to me too. They should hatch in about 4 days, and while I don't think it's terribly difficult to raise them, I think in any tank they just quickly become snacks.

Never seen no eggs in my own tank but they would quickly get eaten ( provably by my 2 jerks dick and dom the cleaner shrimps) but from other people's threads you probably guessed right in cerith snail eggs.

## when I say dick and dom it's 2 kids actors and short for Richard and Dominic btw ^_^ they act like fools
