Long nose hawkish has some sort of infection/disease

I noticed my long nose hawkish has this almost fuzzy looking ball coming off of it. This is my first time having this type of issue with fish so I’m hoping you guys have some insight of knowledge of how to treat this or if it’s something that will go away naturally.

It looks like lymphocystis. Can you give any more information (or an injury)

I tested water perimeters yesterday everything was at a good level no issues or anything. I did just move him into a new bigger tank last week so maybe the stress of that could have caused it. There’s no aggression in the tank or nothing that I’m aware of that would injure him. I do have corals but nothing with any sort of stinging properties, no anemones either.

Is it eating well?
How long have you had this fish? Lymphocystis usually shows up on new fish.
Could be an injury.

Im seeing on a screen blowup, what looks like post injury with fungal or bacterial infection. If true, Seachem neoplex will be best treatment in a separate treatment tank
