Looking for a return pump

Any suggestions? I am going to do bare bottom and looking for an internal return pump.

I was looking at a Mag 9, not sure if i need more flow or not...

What size tank? Shoot for a pump that will give you 3x-5x turnover and still be able to run your calcium reactor, phosban and carbon reactors, or whatever else will ne a pump. It's easiest to have one pump for everything.

Oops forgot to put that... it will be for a 90g. I dont think im running a cal reactor, but will run a carbon and gfo reactor.

Some of these would have to be throttled back a little, but that would also cut down on the wattage they use.

Ocean Runner 3500, the equivalent pump size in the Octopus brand, or an Eheim 1262. All are very energy efficient, create little heat, are extremely quiet and do not have restart problems like many others.

I agree. I've seen AZDesertRat recommend Ocean Runner pumps many times, so I decided to give one a try and I love it.

How about Laguna Maxflow 1500. I think they are same motor like ATB, but with different name.
