Hello I was hoping to get an opinion if this is the start of fin rot on this Tomini. He has been eating well and swimming fine and has been alone in his QT tank for a week. Specifically wondering about the bottom edge of his bottom fin. Thanks!

Two things I see is a couple of dots which may be sand or lympho but check again in 24 hrs to assure they have Not multiplied. Additionally the fish is slightly thin. If eating well, assure its getting a proper diet. Some foods to feed are:

LRS herbivore diet
Formula 2 flake and frozen
TDO Pellets
small plankton
Hikari Marine cuisine
Ocean nutrition veggie diet
spirulina brine shrimp
mysis shrimp
Prime reef
Nori seaweed basted with garlic extract

Add selcon vitamins to foods occasionally

After closer inspection I see those two dots too.
Good eye! My eyes aren’t as good as they use to be…lol

I don't see anything on its bottom fin, but it is folded over in the picture. I see those couple of white dots on it pectoral fin...those could be the start of some issue, but could also be broken fin rays and nothing to worry about.

Thank you for the help. I added some nori and mysis to his diet and he devoured it all. He is swimming great and I think those dots may have been sand as there is nothing I see and definitely nothing spreading. Thanks again!
