I'm building a small ( 50+ gallons) out of glass and would like to find something I can use for bottom trim, maybe even the top.
Anyone have a link or a idea?

I know the trend these days is rimless, but I want the option up front, to go with a rim.
The glass is being cut now and will be shipped next week. I have my RTV 103 and hopefully be building it next weekend.

If it is just for appearance why not make it out of wood? You could even find some crown molding from a hardware store that may suit your needs.

Glass cages sells some sizes..

Some lfs can order them from their tank manufacturers.

These guys do to:
ALL Aquarium Wholesale USA & CANADA
Never ordered from them so i can not say how good they are.

I agree with the above. If its not structural just build one out of wood. It will look nicer.

I made several tanks in the late 80's that had rimless tops, but I did put a wood band at the bottom.
This is a very good option to consider.
There is a lumber store near me that specializes in exotic wood.
Hmm, might have to pay them a visit.

I did contact GC and they do have plastic rim (the same as on my 240), but I'm not thrilled with their shipping quote of $28 for $16 worth of trim.

Elgin Molded Plastics, New Berlin/Milwaukee Wisconsin was the supplier for All-Glass/Aquarian tanks last time I checked. They make it all...

i doubt that they would sell you an individual frame. you would need to buy a ton of trim to make it worthwhile for them to run it on their presses

another place that sells trim is http://www.aquariumframeswholesale.com/
