I’ve gone through 3 lights so far. One vipaspectra (cracked & returned), two Lominie Picie 30’s(1 DOA decided to return both). Looking to spend under $200 on light where should I go from here?

I looked at your build thread and was wondering what size is your tank? For a good light under the price that you suggested I would look on a used item. I picked up my 48” 6 bulb ati sunpower for under that.

If I were you I would look for a 24” 4 or 6 bulb ati sunpower I’m sure you could find one under 200. But that’s just me I’m a t5 guy. You could check out the black box leds as well.

Yeah I tried a black box. Unfortunately it didn’t work. The only thing is I’m looking for an Amazon light because that’s where I got the refund. I might try to go with an ai prime but I would need two because of the size of my tank and that’s about $500. I might just go with the Hipagero or kessil a80 but I’ve heard kessils are weak. I’m

I’m running Noopsyche lights. At about $150 a piece and doing great for my tank. There’s a long article here about the testing done between your big name lights to these & black box, etc.

Where did you get the light from? I can’t seem to find them anywhere. Also do you mind providing the link to the article.

Ai hydra 26 or 52

I’ve had these for about 1.5 years now with no issues. Only thing that was a little difficult was the initial light schedule, but after I played with it everything worked out perfectly
