I think they would look pretty cool if those were their “normal” markings. Wouldn’t be the prettiest but still a cool looking fish.

Do you have a price range?
I don’t know. I’m looking at one for $400. Tank stand sump and
T5 lights.

I bought a 60 during Covid. Real cheap BUT I didn’t think to look at the glass to glass seams and they have bubbles. Only way to fix is take all panels of glass apart..

I’m now trying to sell it as a cheap terrarium.

Right now I just want good basics. I don’t want or need Low lead glass. I prefer internal overflow. I’ve done overflow box’s but just don’t want to. A sump of some kind with room for a small refugium would be nice. This one has an interesting sump I’ll have to see for size it’s large but so many baffle sections.
He had a skimmer so it may be wonderful.

Mexican turbo. My favorite by a mile. Eats more than any other and also as hardy as a trochus so long as it gets enough food. Cheap too.
Can those flip themselves over like Trochus? I was told they couldn’t….but I was also told Trochus CAN flip themselves back over, and I find that yet to be true, but I think I bought a faulty batch because out the lot only 1 have I scene flip itself back.

T5’s the king of lights.
I’ve ran T5.
Then Halides,
I preferred and fared much better with Halides IME.
I left when LED’s were just starting to be popular still much less than Ushio 20K or Phoenix 14 K DE HQI those were more common Halides.

plus T5s gotta be replaced every what 9 Months or less.
Gets spendy over time.

I find that they are good at righting themselves but are generally just good at not falling over. They are much stronger than astreas for example and don’t get knocked off all the time.

Also here’s my skinny blenny. Seems to be healthy just skinny.

I meant the king of the most expensive unsafe un-pocket friendly watt consuming lights :grinning-squinting-face:

Can’t complain about the performance. French Kiss material!

Mine’s got a black spot on the underside. Does that tell me if it’s a male or female?

So you’ve got dogies of your own? What kind?
I have one Male Blue Merle Welsh Border Collie called Cody and a Black Lab x Staffie called Roxy. I used to have a Tricolour Border Collie called Alfie but unfortunately he got too old.

Now it’ even harder for me to decide on which Foxface. I’m scrolling up and now the nutramar fish food ad pops up and it’s like 8 Mags eating off of it. It’s telling me somethin. This a sign? Lol
I’m going to my further away LFS today for something to go in my nano, they have one f a t magnificent that is stunning. Hopefully I’ll grab a photo of it ;)

There's no gender dimorphism as far as I know so males and females are almost impossible to tell apart.

And since we’re sharing here’s Dhingo who I brought home from Namibia (along with my best student).

I think more fish should show their dimorphism to make it a little easier on us.
