I love those tanks! Make sure you powder coat that black pipe.

No matter how many layers of paint or epoxy, it'll rust. Believe me on that one. :(

This is going to be a nice build.

Didn’t think about the pipe rusting
I’m going to transferring my 40b intothis tank so I’ll be using the same lights and sump eventually turning the 40b into the sump
Definitely gonna skin the stand maybe with some reclaimed lumber looking stuff I saw at Home Depot

That reclaimed looking stuff is cool. I almost bought some for stuff I am working on at the house and I actually found some reclaimed wood for free.

Are used their ship lap and found that I could distress it for less and put a gray type finish on it for less than the distressed version cost. Looks great when it’s finished, either way!
