Just curious as to if certain LPS coral can touch each other. I have a hammer, torch coral, and octospawn and wanted to place them all near each other. Thanks so much for your input.

Welcome and they should be ok close from my experiences with them. Kinda like acans get along but not with other corals too close. As any other there's always risk and need to watch for issues incase you have to move em a little.

The hammer and frogspawn "should be ok"....the torch on the other hand is a different story....at least in my experience.

Excuse the cruddy cellphone pic, but I've had my hammer and frogspawn next to each other for a couple months and so far so good. I wouldn't put either anywhere near my torch though.

Frogspawn and hammers, 5 different varieties, fragging for a couple of years to control.

The hammer and frogspawn can touch each other and will be just fine. I would suggest keeping the torch coral out of reach of any other. They all have long stinging tentacles that come out at night. The tentacles can be several times longer than those you see during the day. Keep that in mind when you place other corals near them. In my experience these LPS corals will kill anything else they touch.
