Pretty sure it is.
Hah! I’m shocked I got it right. I know you’ve said it like three times on this thread lol.

It’s been quite a week and I’m thankful its almost over. Here’s my morning shingle buddy. She has been very close because her food giver and the source of frisbee throws hasn’t felt well.

I need to brush her butt floof.

We are waiting for lights to come on, Aubrey things will look good enough for a photo of the tank.

If it is the older model you can trace the wires to a little black box that the wires kinda clip into. If I remember correctly you have to squeeze the side of the box and pull out the wire. It’s a bare wire at the end that is pushed inside the box. I have had to replace one of those pumps before. Wish I had some pictures but I don’t
One of my large turbo snails passed. Or at least I think. It was in its back so I flipped it. And it has yet to move.

Daily dosing of the silicates and microbacter, as well as pulling the dinos from the overflow grates. I’ve been sick and sore since I fell the other week, this thing with extreme stomach aching. I told Hubbs he is lucky o was able to do laundry. In the midst of this, I lost my old female pallifina. :( ImBloo is still going strong. I have no clue her actual age; she was wild caught and passed around to a few keepers before she came to me.

Also, anyone know how to disassemble a Tunze pump? The blue ones. I’m having an error beep on the 5017 and flipping the pump over it seems the impeller is a bit tight. I’d very much like to get it going again, simply because it is quite handy on the pallifinas tank. If not I’ll go manual adding again, no biggie. But I don’t want to pry when I should twist, and I’m obviously not holding my mouth right as I poke and prod. This is the lights I’m getting.

Sorry for being absent. Grandbaby #2 will be here in a couple months and mama needs a bit of help getting the house in order. So I’ve been spending more time with her and less time with the tanks.

Things still stable, in the sense of the Dino’s still here lol. I had some pulsing Xenia, thinking that adding more things to help bring up the bioload would be of some use and it just vanished by the next day so… who knows.

Happy Sunday :)

Last weekend, I had gotten a little cutting of some pulsing Xenia. I absolutely adore them and it’s been on my list for the longest time. It wasn’t on a plug and myself had forgotten to keep the old ones I’ve had so I just stuffed it in a hole in a rock. Oops lol. It either melted by morning time or dislodged and went somewhere else.

Scoped a little of the floaty stuff and there’s still ostreopsis. It does seem a little less. I’m dosing the Red Sea AB and the microbacter 7 still. I can’t tell if it’s looking better or about the same. The “atomic Brocolli” seems to be maturing nicely, which is very nice.

I’m thinking of pulling all the calurpa up and sticking it in the sump or setting up a much smaller setup for just it. May take some to the LFS too, since I have so much of it. Seems the downside mos do enjoy growing on it and maybe if I pull it, it’ll help.

For now, minus the giant aiptasia, things are looking good on the zoas and the nems. The rock flowers are growing. I’d love to pull them and let them grow and trade or give to others but I’m not sure where to put them.

Maybe I need to clean this tan gallon out for the calurpa jar baby rock flowers lol.

Oh! Bloo has quite a few fry now, which for his age is impressive! My Barclaya Longefolia has two lovely bulbs too. My favorite aquatic plant.

Finding the right light to view my paints under is a real challenge sometimes lol. Maybe I should take it outside.

Trying to figure out which one looks more like a black orchid betta. Which, the lighting is a pain but so is not having a black orchid betta to view…..

Selma decided that she enjoys the anemones. They have split again so now there’s four. That’s plenty for her to choose from. She has started the chewing and being stung routine. If the nems split again I’ll try to snatch one up and see if I can’t get a shrimp for it, or find a local reefer who would like it. No sense in keeping them all.

I named the betta Picasso. He’s gaining a very big personality. Still chasing shrimp lol

This guy is still unnamed. I can’t think of anything that fits. He’s like a pearlscale goldfish. An iridescent cellophane. All I saw when I got him was his eyes.

Arts going slow. Cold weather has my hands very sore. I have to paint in the living room but that isn’t easy with dogs and their hair.

Beautiful fish Bev! Wasn’t Mr. Crabs daughter named Pearl? Might be fitting for your goldfish.

Ty!

I honestly have never watched SpongeBob lol. The fish is a male (he’s just short finned, and not really a goldfish just looks like one) I was really hoping he was a she when o found him, because I had the perfect name set aside. Sadly, it won’t quite fit now.

Bev, I regret the day I got a Nem and put it in my tank. I've given them away, moved them to another tank and the keep splitting. I have about 15 of them now and I curse ever putting one in my tank
