Luckiest clownfish ever

This happened to my buddy.


Most of you know i moved my platinum over to the 120g. He did good for a week or so and turned up missing. Being the smallest fish in there i expected the worst after i looked everywhere and hadnt seen the little guy in 36+ hours. Well much thanks to CHRISM who is coming to pick up my skimmer in a little bit! I was removing the skimmer for a quick clean before Chris gets here. As i am dumping the remaining water in the skimmer body i noticed something white, so i stopped and looked. It was the missing platinum clown and he was unscathed! He is back in the tank with his best friend now. How he went over the overflow, down the drain, through a t, a ball valve, ends up in the skimmer section in turbulent water to be sucked up by a sedra 5000 and live in the skimmer body for who knows how long, and lives! crazy lucky lil guy!

to be sucked through a mesh modded sedra 5000 without a mark...I say that is pretty **** lucky...LOL

Actually the mesh mod probably saved his life. I think a needle wheel would have torn him apart. The mesh has give and is softer then hard plastic spikes spinning around so fast...
