Lymphocystis on clown???

Just noticed these spots on my misbar clown. No additions to the tank in almost a year. All other fish are clear.

Tank has been in the same location for almost 3 years, with me having the clown for 4 years.

I fed the tank and he didn't seem very interested, just took a nibble.

He's staying in low flow areas, I'm guessing because he's stressed and not feeling good.

Any aggression from your other clown?

The other possibility would be flukes or an injury. If you can catch the fish a 5 min FW dip would be able to rule out flukes.

Lympho usually presents itself on the fins and wouldn't cause lethargic behavior.

No aggression from the other clown. They're actually a mated pair, spawn every two weeks.

Dip in RO water?

I can probably catch him since he's not really swimming. It's a 200g tank so catching him may not happen

Here is the link for instructions on FW dip. Yes use RODI and aerate prior to the bath for 5min or so.

I'll keep it in mind.

But I'm glad to report the spots are gone. I took my son outside for a little bit, and then came back in and the spots are gone. The fish is out and swimming like normal.

I'll keep a close eye for the next couple days
