Man, I wish I could get those crystal clear shots like you guys. Im new to photography and Im having I hard time learning what all the settings do/mean, so I have just been shooting in auto mode. Can the pictures get better If I knew what I was doing or is it my lens? I'm using a Sony a7ii with the Sony FE 50mm f/2.8 Macro Lens. This is the best I can do so far.

You have to get really close up to your target.
