We have a 32 gallon biocube that we are doing some basic soft corals, kenya tree, encrusting gorg, various palys but the colors are pretty brown compared to how pink and purple some are in our other tank that runs AI lights. Without doing a full lighting change does anyone have any experience adding in some form of blue leds in the top to add some color to the tank?

You can definitely add some of the strip style lights to the top of the hood and turn them to all blue. That may help with the coloration a bit. You can find them at Walmart usually in the garden section.

Okay thanks, thats what we were thinking might work but I saw a post from someone who had an experience with doing something similar and the blues not putting a dent in the amount of white light that was keeping colors muted.
