very NICE!
Do you notice a lot of algae growth?
How tall is the 125?
How far is the light from the water line?
Light schedule?
Sorry for missing your post until now.
I have been battling an algae outbreak (I believe it to be lyngbya), but I do not believe it is related to the lights. Other than fighting it, I've had no other algae issues.
The 125 is 21" tall and I run the lights around 12"-14" off the water. I'll measure later tonight and see for sure.
Mars Aqua doesn't put a dial marker under their rheostats. I have contacted them to ask for a pair to place under mine, but they don't offer it. I'm guessing my blues are @ 60% and my whites are on the minimum. Blues run for 9 hrs/day and the whites for 3 hrs/day right in the middle of the blue schedule.
Both lights have been soldwould one 300 watt work well on a 60 gallon 36" long by 18" deep and 24" high?
Yes. Good choice.
will that work for my tank size?Yes. Good choice.
