A small hiccup in the plans. I didn't order enough plumbing parts and now BRS is sold out, and they don't know when they will get more in. I'm starting to wonder if I will ever get water in this tank.

What parts do you need? Unless they’re really specialized, I like supply house.com.

3/4” Schedule 80 90° Elbow Slip x Slip
They didn't have them at the supply house, and the ones they did have were four times the price of BRS. I found some elsewhere, but they are a company that I have never heard of. I have come to trust and love BRS even if I have to wait.

They have it, you’ll save 30% and you’ll get it faster.

Wow, I can't believe I missed that the first time. The only one that came up the first time was almost 5 dollars and was threaded. Thanks, Parts ordered.

The new return pump I ordered should arrive tomorrow. However, I won't have the plumbing to install it. All part of the hobby.

I just noticed in the over flow box picture you drilled holes in both U's? Was that on purpose? Normally I would have the taller of the U's have a hole and the other for full syphon... Maybe this was intentional, but figured I would point it out before it is to annoying to fix when it is wet and running.

Actually they came that way from Planet aquariums, I didn't drill any holes. Once I get water in the tank and see the performance I may or may not change it out.

The new pump came in, and I was a little surprised by the size of it. It's huge!!! But I think it will be able to provide enough flow for the tank and any additional frag tanks I may add in the future.

However, I did manage to get my return pump for the most part plumed in. It was hard due to how large the pump was and how close the holes on the sump are. Luckily I found this flexible PVC at the HD, and was able to make it all come together. I just hope the joints hold.

I saw this on a YouTub video, and I'm seriously considering it. I was wondering if anyone has any experience wtih them, or know if they are worth the 500 dollars?

I bought one a few years ago and used it for maybe 2 years. It worked fine, but I think the whole concept is flawed. I would not recommend neck cleaners in general. All the gunk ends up building up on the neck cleaner itself, not on the neck, thus defeating the purpose of it.

Looks good! What pump is that, I was debating on the rd3, but may get the vectra l2

It is a Royal Exclusiv Red Dragon 3 Speedy Pump 230 Watt (6340 GPH) Here is the link for BRS. I was looking at the Vectra's and the reviews didn't give me the warm and fuzes, and considering how much livestock, time, and money I'm investing, I wanted to make sure I'm getting the best I can. The only other one I saw they may be better was the Abyzz but it was double the price, and I couldn't justify it.

Looking for opinions. I have an old 90-gallon tank that is drilled, and I was either thinking about turning it into a quarantine system or a frag system. Right now I'm leaning towards frag system because I'm going to source all my fish from vendors that quarantine and treat the fish before I buy them. For example Marine Collectors. What do you all think?
