I picked up my Christmas present today, a fish I have been fascinated with your years and finically got one.

Meet my little baby froglet I have called Rhino, he is only thumb nail sized, I had a Softies Nano tank to put him in but he is so small I think I would never see him again and I need to make sure he is getting food, so have him in the nursery section of my sump till he gets bigger. Really excited to have this little fish.

Been reading everything I can about Frogfish and this species Warty/Clown Frogfish is one of the smallest species (to be confirmed if it really is Antennarius maculatus because it's difficult to tell when this tiny!).

If anyone has photos of their Frogfish I would love to see them and your set ups as well as any info you think might be useful! Thank you.

It's like a dream come true, he is tiny and it's the most I have ever paid for a fish! Really love him.

Awesome fish! I had one for a bit in a 6 gallon and he still had loads of room.

If you don't have a lid, get one. They don't normally jump, but that's how I lost mine.

Awesome, definitely a warty, Antennarius maculatus. Here's mine when I first got him, that coral is 2"; 2nd picture is about 4 months later. Current set up is a bc29 with Living Color fake corals, I did a full reef with a painted angler.

They like cliffs and overhangs to perch and ambush. Low flow, I'm doing about 200gph in a 29g with no power heads. If you have low flow they will swim alot more than you would think; it's so funny. I like feeding mine live food, from what I've seen it keeps them more active and interesting. You'll never see their fascinating activity in hunting and stalking if you feed them dead. They use their esca in many interesting ways when they are hunting live. They will swirl them madly to get attention, use them similar to a fishing lure, and sway them gently to hypnotize while sneaking up.

Also they are like chameleons; so you'll want to decorate your tank with colorful corals, either real or fake. I've seen them turn pretty drab in tanks with just rock within just a few weeks. With your guy I'd definitely put some yellow. red, and orange for him to imprint. In the wild some live among sponges, yellows, oranges, and reds.
