All of the SeaTorch equipment looks top-notch. It will be interesting to see the reliability and longevity of the equipment and company. My understanding is that they have made a big dent in the market in Australia already. They had been selling all their equipment on AliExpress until towards the end of last year. Then things shifted and now it's all sold through SeaTorch Australia. Except the lights. They are still available on AliExpress.

Collectors Corals is going to be the US distributor and are offering 20% off all preorders. I think you may know this already as you mentioned September waiting until September to get the skimmer.

I’ve only heard good things about them as well. Saw the 20% thing, but can’t fit a third skimmer.

YAY! New gadget for reefing arrived a day early. Here it is and pictures with it soon to come.

I really like it. Well made and very adjustable. I can move the camera back on the porthole an extra 2" - 3" giving me a bit more FOV on the macro lens.

Can I make the suggestion to add this info (dates changed), along with "beginning" and "current" pics of the tank and set up? I know that I might be a PITA but, from my point of view, it's cool when a person (me) gets to see a glimpse of what the system began as, what it is now and has the understanding that they will learn how it got from one to the other while reading the rest of the tank thread.

When I had a Pink Cadillac it spent several months trying to base out first. Yours based somewhat and started growing. That's good!

Thanks man, I'm really happy how it's doing now. And thanks for sharing how yours grew. When I started this tank, most of my SPS only based out for a long time then started to branch out slowly. Lately, most of the sps I've added are doing both at the same time.

Besides the tank being a bit more mature (just over 7 months old), the only thing I've really worked on is raising my pH and also brought my alk up about .5 to about 8.5. I'm averaging about .2 higher pH than I was about 2-1/2 months ago. I wonder if that's what working in my favor along with a bit more alk?

Nutrient continue to be the same. Doesn't move much from here.

Did a little organizing today. Man, there's a lot of stuff down there! Also, went back to gallon jugs as I was going too quickly through the Simplicity dosing containers and they are tough to clean. Gallon jugs just work better for me.

Tomorrow I do my weekly AQ growth check, but I added a pic today to the non-cropped comparison I did two weeks ago. I think this coral is accelerating its growth. I'm really loving this one.

Camera is in the exact same spot with same lens on all three pics.

3-part balling action there. The only thing I did was switch out the Soda Ash with Sodium Hydroxide for the pH boost. Other than that, nothing. Do you add the traces A and K? I'm currently doing 80ml per gallon of each.

What's in the 5 gallon container? I can't make it out.

Well, the video cam is just my iPhone, so didn’t include it. But, I should include the Canon 7D and the lenses and also mention the phone model.

The color is awesome on the AD, but that pic was taken under much more blues than the others so it looks different.
