Yes it is ok to add metro to your tanks water as well as feeding it to your fish at the same time.

Can also use General Cure. It has metro and prazipro together. add it to the food using focus 1:1 ratio added to one spoon of food.

Agree, this will kill a wider range of internal ailments, also.

Adding garlic guard or some taste additive will help as well.
