Very very sad news on my end. Wife and I were away for 10days, and came home to a crashed system. It appears a leak began on a return side, unfortunately that meant ATO was adding more than normal causing a salinity drop. We have literally lost everything, including our personal main display tank. 15yrs down the drain; and the trash can. Filled half a 5gal bucket of dead sps.

We literally have lost everything! Not a single survivor. I am still sitting through some sand beds looking for our micros stars; but so far nothing alive.

I am sorry to everyone waiting; wife and I are just beside ourselves. I have never encountered this in 15yrs…ugh…

All good here. It happened about 2wks ago and I just haven’t been in the mood to make the previous post. Finally past the “shocked” feeling.

I fixed the plumbing, cleared out all the skeletons, and then brought the salinity back up.

I personally have had all my rock/filtration/and most of the corals for 15yrs so there’s no way I can just throw in the towel, it’s my lifestyle. It’s devastating for sure considering how long I’ve had some of the animals in my care.

But, since spring is finally here in Ohio, and outside work on our 20acre hobby farm is beginning, im gonna reseed from a friends tank, then let it run on autopilot until winter roles back around.

Put me on your waitlist for some little stars when you reopen your shipping! I just had one and it got squished :anxious-face-with-sweat:
Hey! Are you still looking for micro brittle star? I live in the Monroe area and have a bunch. Saw your post about 6 months ago and kept you in mind as they bred a stable population.
