I like taking a chance and buying corals that look like the might be on their last leg to try to revive them. You get some really good deals that way and more often than not, come out way on top.

I bought this guy this weekend. It has a total of 4 polyps. All are puffy and it is gobbling food when i spot feed. It does look bleached and im sure it isn't this bright of a pink.

If this were your coral, how would you start to rehab it or do you think it's healthy the way it is?

With stable chemistry, adequate lighting and some nutrition I think it has a very good chance of survival.

Start low in the tank with low flow, feed but not excessive. Slowly work it up in the light over the course of a month/ month and a half. Keep flow moderate/low for a while to avoid further damage for a couple weeks

May be slightly low in color but offer moderate light and water flow and feed 2x a week. I try to prop these on a flat piece of rock to keep sand off them which can irritate them. I feed mine mysis shrimp

Heck I got my hg micro in about 600 par loving life, it takes time inching them up over a couple months. Not saying at all that much light is necessary lol
