Hey MJC ... I noticed the Red/Orange branching sponge & do you rate it's survival rate? I have one for well over 3 - 4 months now & feed Reef Roid every other day and it's slowly "disintegrating/ dying off". Not as hardy as I was told by a Florida sponge collector ...

BTW my old 29 gallon is skimmerless

Hi Sea Munnkey I have had mine for four months also I feed my tank a home made blender mush four or five times a day and also feed photo plankton once a week. It seems to be doing well? Time will tell good luck with yours.

Thanks & good luck to yours too!

Mine has the tip ends kinda bleach out (translucent) but the rest of the body looks fine ... it's collected & shipped to our local lfs from the Florida coast. Kinda experimenting just cause of it's intense coloration ...

Wow!! Very beautiful reef indeed. You know that you have truly mastered it, when one can sit back and admire a reef such as yours and forget that you are on dry land. Very tranquil!
I am a softy lover also. Thank you for sharing your art work!

Lol thank you.
I use to make a living from wedding photography but nowadays there are more people with cell phones that would much rather post their pictures immediately on Facebook and have cheap photos rather than quality.

Thank you for your compliments ;)

Amazing. I hope to fully stock mine like this some day, what are those branch like softies? I'm doing an LPS/softy tanky myself and those are great additions to add height.

Careful with gorgs around LPS. One small frag of gorg wiped out a softball sized colony of frogspawn in less than 12 hours. They are great at chemical warfare. I have found they do well with softies and that is about it. 1 or 2 may be fine, but no more. Also, watch placement!!
