Yes I do.
4 carberryi anthias
1 flame hawk fish (maybe)
1 flametail blenny
3-4 fairy wrasse
Hi fin red band goby pair or yellow watchman goby pair.

All peacefull and cover the sand bed to the surface.

I am going to wait about a month or so then get the anthias.

Hard to go wrong with that list, the anthias, hawk and blenny are on mine as well. All very colorful and I think a fairly low bio-load on the system as well.

YES! Lots of color, movement from top to bottom, and less fish poop than 2 adult tangs! And little if any stress or bickering (I hope!)

Glad to see someone looking at the flametail blenny. I had one in my last tank for 2 years and he was my favorite. I had made a short video of him, I will see if I can find it and paste the link in here. Thanks for following along Hulley!

The Blennies have such personality, I would love a tankful but not sure how many you can keep at the same time. My wife wants a Lawn Mower and I want a Flametail.

I had asked eatbreakfast about my fish list.
He said the tail spot and flametail inhabit different regions. Tailspot on the rocks, and the flametail swims rock to rock. Said it wouldn’t be a problem. You seem to want the same thing except with a lawn mower vs a tailspot.

I would think you are able to get both!

If you have fish compatibility questions, there is a sticky under the fish forum to post your questions and you will get good answers.

Let me know if you can’t find it and I will send you a link.

Cool thank you, I'll hunt the sticky down in a bit!

The most exciting thing I bought is the maxspect gyre200. Im coming from high tech CO2 injected tanks... good water flow is just as important as the light. I care about the scape, not sure what will eventually call my tank home. My concern is my tank is only 50 gallons. This equipment will run i estimate 10-20%. Not sure if it was the best splurge, but my gut said so.... thoughts?

Just a thought -- the new Ice Cap 1K is out... gyre for up to 50G and comes with controller, if you're set on using a gyre.

I don't have any experience with it though except to contemplate one for my BTA tank

So are you setting up a refugium or are you using the Algae barn stuff in the algae reactor?

The chaeto went into the reactor. The pods I put in the main display after lights out.

No real refugium to speak of, the the reactor will house pods, and I have a tray of rubble for pods in the sump as well.

I've been contemplating a 525 or 425... How heavy do you think the tank itself is?
