Hello everyone! this is my first post here but I can tell I'm going to like it here. So this is my first tank it quite some time, a little over a year. Im trying to do everything "perfect". Its a RedSea Max Nano, currently has 30lbs of STAX dry rock with the built in skimmer and ReefLED 50. These are a few pictures of the aquascape right now, before I lay egg crate and about 2.5" to 3" of sand. Honestly I'm not sure exactly what my live stock plans are, most likely a softies tank with a pair of clowns, But I'm a long way off from livestock.

So today I ordered a 75w Jager and an ink-bird temperature controller. I've been looking into controllers like the Apex but I don't know if I want to shell out that kind of money on that. Does anyone know of any ph/salinity lcd displays or something like that? Something that the probes can stay in the rear sump and give me a continuous reading. I found a few but they all say the probes need to stay dry while not in use.

I know the seneye reef monitor does ph,ammonia, temperature, that's what I'm using been really stable. You set low & high warning alerts and if it drops or raises it sends emails and text messages on your phone.. seneye are going to sell a device that's checks the alk as well..

Welcome to R2R!

The Seneye is the one with the slides correct? I looked into those and decided id rather get an apex than replace slides monthly

That's correct they do take slides and their only £20 for 3 months in the UK.. I only mentioned the seneye as you said you didn't know whether you wanted to pay that much for a apex
