Hi folks, can anybody clear this up for me.
I have 2 old 6200hv lights , I would love to replace the let's to ensure output is spot on.
On the GHL web site I have found replacement lx7 light clusters and it says LED-Cluster for replacement or retrofitting in the description.
I was going to order some but then thought, would it be possible to use the lx75 coral pop clusters and if so could I do just 2 at a time, due to VAT and TAX on anything imported over £135 value, I sent a ticket to GHL asking for advice.
I was told I would have to change all 6 at the same time. Fair enough, just have to suck up the import duties.
What did surprise me was being told that they were not suitable as the lx6 were such an old light.
My question is , is the information that I have read is now out of date and no suitable clusters are available or will the lx7 clusters work and I have been given the wrong info ?
PL-1441 is the original part number for the replacements but when putting the part number into the search it takes you to the lx7's .
Any help appreciated

This "was" how it was done..
As to further upgrading to lx7 boards.. yea not likely.
Your light is like 10 years old.

Best would be just to par map it and see if its still viable for your use.
LEDs can fade really slow. You may only be like 30% less light.

You are 7 years too late..Feb 1 2017..and it was never "off the shelf" purchase.

Where to buy

These LED clusters are only available directly from GHL (either webshop GHL USA or GHL Germany), not through dealers.
GHL offers you an upgrade service, we will do the work for you: Swapping the clusters, firmware update, model change, end test for $30 / 30€ (net) + shipping per Mitras.
Of course you can also do everything on your own.

On a theoretical note based on history.. the HV cluster is likely to have faded the most.. if it stands for hyperviolet.

LX6100HV or LX6200HV: replace main clusters + keep your already existing HV cluster
Leds of the 6200HV is in this link. Refreshing at least some leds is "possible" though a bit tricky.
