Modular marine overflow

So I ordered and over flow, based on the awesome reviews I’ve read on here and Facebook, unfortunately it’s been a month since I ordered it. It was back ordered at first which is fine, but it was shipped last week, then Monday it was updated to return to sender, and today “failed to deliver” and requesting a payment via UPS.

I’ve tried contacting them since Monday with no luck or response.

UPS says they failed to produce the correct documents to ship it to Canada.

How likely am I to see this over flow? It’s the only thing holding my tank back... I have everything else....

I second the fiji cube. I went through an issue with MM and them getting an overflow to me and I am in the US, so it should have been super simple for them.

But off of that, as I keep the rest to myself, as not to bash anyone.

I have a MM overflow installed on a tank, that was installed when they were super active and doing a lot of business, and it is near dead silent. So if you do get it, then awesome, they are not bad at all.

I also have a fiji cube overflow, and it is dead silent.. So if MM falls through, then you still have a good option for a reliable and well built silent overflow.

Such a shame. I had a custom one built about a year ago for my current tank. It’s awesome!

It was shipped from Texas to Canada, Alberta.

Should only take a week (BRS takes a week) , it was returned to sender, he sent me an email saying he would re send it today. Now I’m still waiting for a confirmation, I really hope I get it, as I’ve heard good reviews from people who have had it, but I won’t be doing business with them again unfortunately

Like I said before, I am very happy with mine and it is a very good overflow. I have just found another brand, I will be using from here on out for future builds.

But again, hoping you get it so the build can move forward. Always sucks waiting for something to come in lol.

2 days later, after he said he’d send it out the same day, still not sent out.

I’ve asked for a refund and hopefully I get it, then I can look into other options for an overflow box. Maybe just go back to reef synergy

I have bought several in the last year and it does take some time but I think he says it will.
It sounds like it was a mistake on shipping.
I have 4 installed in the last 6 months and they work great.

I have used Fijicube which is good and also Synergy reefs.

With Synergy reef I do not like the new Shadow over flow though, it just feels cheap.
I like the older 20" one and have used it on several builds.

It’s not that I don’t want the overflow. But , I waited 2 weeks from date of order before he said it was backordered (I sent numerous emails regarding when it would be shipped) , then he sent it out, it was returned on Tuesday, Tuesday evening, he said he’d send it out Wednesday, it’s now Friday and he still hasn’t sent it out.

I could’ve ordered any other overflow and had it within a week.

It just seems like horrible customer service, and I can see why he would be going out of business at this rate.

It’s bad when I ordered a custom tank the same day, and my tank is ready before the over flow box is.

A custom tank built in two weeks? Who’s shop did it come from? Any custom tank builder is usually at LEAST 8-12wks out. I almost find this hard to believe

Update: supposedly it was shipped out, but I still don’t have a tracking number like I received the first time.

4-5 weeks. Wedsnday was week 3. I ordered the tank and over flow on the 22 of May.
