I am pulling about 1000lph. I like not having the output go down rather than having the output t out the side.

1000lph that's great! Are you using the large PPW? Do you notice a slight difference in performance when the impeller turns in one direction as apposed to the other? I noticed on my Mini Airstar there is a slight difference in one direction as apposed to the other witch surprised me because of the non directional volute design.

its 4 In OD. IT is skimming really really well. It is probably one of the best skimmers I have used. I am not just trying to float my boat or anything. But its basically the ATB 840 with a few mods. MY bubble plate is a little different, thicker plate and not quite as tall and no skirt. my exit plumbing has the water going out and down like the bk minis. No elbow then a T. Just a T.
I like it.

Your skimmate is nice and dark. Are you running it on your 57 rimless? How many inches of water are you running it in?

Looks good Mojo. Have you messed around with building a volute for the sicce that has a tangent output? I'm curious if that would make much of a difference instead of straight out in the middle like they all are right now. And since you have so much free time....kidding.

I did make a reducer for my pump. it was .68 inches. works really well. not as large as the k2 but bigger than most. allows a little more water. using it with the atb large wheel. pretty good balance

Yea, the sicce is like an endless mod. I had some pulling 65scfh with some reducers i made, but when hooked up they die down to around 30scfh. I honestly thing 40-45scfh is going to be max. But dang, 40scfh at 21w......pretty tough to beat, no other pump is close.
