So after rechecking my notes I realized that it had been 5 weeks since I changed my GFO. Changed it out and within a couple days cyano disappeared. Sand was mostly clean for 4 or 5 days. Now detrius has come back. If I vacuum sand it's back within a few hours. It's not terrible but annoying. I have 2 gyre 150s on a 59x22x22 and feel like flow at bottom is decent. Was wondering if I somehow added a little more flow across bottom it would help. Would like to maybe add a couple small dc powerhead blowing from back to front so I wouldn't see them. Will this work with sand bottom?? Any recommendations on pumps?

Also added many more snails but none seem to help with surface detrius.
