The most reliable heater is one plugged into a controller....whether it's a total aquarium controller or one dedicated to just the heater....like a Ranco. The reason you need the controller is that every heater, regardless of brand, will fail. And the failure that is most dangerous is the "Stuck ON" failure, where the tank temperature spikes. A controller will save you from this type of failure.
That said, my favorite heater is Eheim Jager. They have the thickest glass. The only negative is that they are long....so make sure it will fit.
If your just doing the heater under a controller id use this one. It also has a port for a cooling fan or chiller as nice bonus.

BRStv or the BRS 52 weeks of reefing did a video where they treated several different models for accuracy.
No, any heater works just as good as the next in how they respond with controllers. All the controller does is shut the power on and off, based on temps. You set the minimum and maximum temp you want (based on reliable thermometers) and the controller keeps the temp in that range. Is there a paticuler brand and type of heater that responds better with controllers ?
How correct are these controllers to set temps ?
I'm watching youtube vids on the inkbird.
Is there more than one model ?
