I did a peroxide dip on some zoas imagine it would work with paly but I am not a pro. Have no idea if it is safe for a hammer.

Scrape the rock and then spot treat the algae with peroxide.

Spot treat the rock using q tips...... not the coral.

Well as I laid waste to algea on the base with hydrogen peroxide I discovered that a colony of clove polyps that were growing on my old frag rack was trying to grow under the algea, think the peroxide may have hurt the clove polyps :D
