gotta a few questions....im moving down the street pretty much and i took alll my corals out and put them in about 10 gallon holding container for a few days till i get the tank at the new place up and running....well i cleaned out the sand and rinse and scrubbed my rocks and put them in the new tank and filled it with about 1o gallons of new water...its only a 30 gallon...i just wanted to get the rocks in some water and get the sand back in the water and get everything settled until i bring the corals back into it...i was gonna add all new water and acclimate the corals into the new system so my question is......should i have to cycle my hole tank before i add the corals back in or should it be fine....i still have rocks that the corals are on so its not like everything is new in the tank and i just rinsed the sand out so it should still have life and bacteria in it right??? haha please help me im stumped and have to move all this in 2 days

I just moved a 120g last weekend and we just drrained the water in the tank into 5g jugs and put the live rock in 5g buckets with some tank water also and didnt lose anything except for a single magician poly;)What kind of water did you use to rinse your sand with??Also rinsing and scrubbing your LR will kill some of the goodies you need in your tank and dead things can cause other things to die too(raise in nitrates)I think you may have over done the cleaning of things and "may" have to go through a cycle again(JMO)
