Hello! Does anyone know if a Green Hairy mushroom can touch a Red Disco mushroom without any issues? My green hairy mushroom is getting pretty close to my red disco mushroom and I’m wondering if I should move the disco mushroom

Mine are right next to each other without issue but I have heard others say there has been some retraction on the part of the discos. My GHM is huge too!

Do you think I should move my disco mushroom or should I just see how they react when they end up touching?

I would give them 3-4” distance just to be sure. Mine are only so close because my one grew so darn big so fast! I’m changing over to a bigger tank so I’m just waiting to do the rearranging then!

Okay My mushrooms used to have enough space between them until my disco mushroom grew two new heads right next to my GHM and then my GHM just started to expand more. They grow so fast!

So that was me too! I have one today sulking but the rest seem to bear with one another. Mine move on top of it all!
