Thanks.

While I do think that the hermits could have been responsible for the injury, I don't believe it's what hurt him.

You could see a chunk taken out of him, but the spine left perfectly clean, which leads me to believe it was either worms, or whatever those red things I saw on him were.
Walker, sometimes it takes persistence. I am on my third neon blue goby, and this one is finally doing well. Ich took the first one. Gorilla crab took the second one. Elvis 3.0 seems to be thriving. Hang in there.

I was thinking of heading up to my LFS on Friday, to get another fish.

How does that sound?

Any suggestions?
If you are fortunate enough to find a possum wrasse or a pinked streaked wrasse, you will have struck gold. Not both in your tank, just one.

I love the possum wrasse, but I doubt I will find it...

Is a possum wrasse aggressive, because I know most wrasses are?

Possum wrasse are "experienced" level fish, so personally I wouldn't throw one in my tank just yet. They require a more stricter food requirement (I think) and can be harder to take care of. They're also quite pricey...

Yeah, once I saw the price I thought it wasn't worth it.

How is you yellow watchman goby?

If my LFS has one, I think I may get it...

Haha yeahhh, maybe in the future once established lol...

My watchman is doing great! He's been eating every day and I noticed today and yesterday he has been coming out of his cave now for a little. So he might be getting more comfortable now. I definitely recommend one, they are easy to take care of and I feed the same frozen shrimp I do for my clowns.

I love the yellow color too, with the blue dots that shine in the light. Super cool.

I just posted an update on my thread if you wanna check it out!

YWG is a great choice. Pair with a pistol shrimp for maximum serenity!

The shrimp always has an antennae touching the fish. It is like a seeing eye fish. Unfortunately that particular YWG died in my ich outbreak. Here is YWG 3.0. Same shrimp.

I am really hoping that my LFS has one.

The guy that said he was going to order me a fish, said he was thinking either a burrowing goby, or a blenny.

Will a YWG, and a blenny with a firefish be fine in the same tank?

I have heard pretty bad stories so I am not to sure...

You want to stay away from fish that occupy the same habitat. YWG and Blenny may compete for space.

I just wanted to give a quick update.

I decided to wait to get another fish until after I pick up the one my coral guys is ordering for me.

I though that if I did get a YWG, then he ordered me a blenny, or a other burrowing goby, I would not be able to buy it from him, so I thought it would be best if I just waited.

Patience is a good idea.

Thought I would come on here and show this, not sure if it's new polyps growing in?

When I got it:

Now:

You can see discoloration in the middle of the calcium structure, is it growing polyps already?!
