Thanks y'all! It's taken a long time and a lot of $$ too! Lol. Skinz I wish that was a My Miami that big! I would be rich! LOL. But yes I grew it from a 3-4 eye frag.

It's just an old skool Tyree Miami Hurricane. I have grown that one for just over a year now!

Looking good bro! The efflo will hold better color and you will get better growth out of it when its in lower light still needs good light but Ive had better luck when I place it close to the bottom of the tank. Ive had it everywhere in my tank and closer to the top it browns with purple tips

Looking very nice, Dave. I don't remember if you posted any stats on your tank beside that it is 220. Give us other info please such as equipment, feeding, salt mix, supplements, etc.

I have posted it in the other one. LOL. here they are:

My display is an AGA 220g reef ready, I have a 75g sump/fuge , ASM G3 skimmer, BRS dual media reactor (gfo and carbon), 2 Vortec MP40's running on 100%; reef crest mode and 2 Vortec MP10's running on 75% lagoon mode, 3x 250w MH (2 single ended 20k raduims and 1 DE 14k hamilton) and 4x54w T5 ati blue + . I dose 90 ml of BRS 2 part and 30 ml of Mg daily. My photo period is: the blues (T5) come on at noon and go off at 10pm the MH comes on at 2 and goes off at 8:30pm. I change ~25g of water every other week with a mixture of reefcrystals and corallife salts. I also run chaeto in my fuge on a reverse light cycle. I feed salifert pellet food 2xdaily and rods food when I think about it. usually about once a week or so. I think thats it LOL.

Thank you, Dave I really need to pay you a visit. How's the noise level on the vortex pumps? While some people don't seem to be bothered by it, others complains bitterly about it.

Would you pease post a recent FTS ?

Thank you for the compliments, Tomoko! You do need to get out this way. I am ready to get a trade worked up I don't have any complaints about the vortec noise. I have the tank in the living room and the TV is there and I don't really notice them. But my wife will tell you that I'm half deaf (I do have some hearing loss from when I was an Avaition Electrician in the Navy) but she says they are not too loud either. I will post a FTS when I get home from work this afternoon. I haven't taken one in a month or more.
