Too much CO2 exhale from Charlie.
Put Charlie outside for about two weeks and see if your ph rises. :)

I saw that:) and I am kinding of think of using one go these link with a filter. The AC unit is in the garage and as pictured I could add the grill with a filter to pull fresh air from the garage. We do no park the cars in the garage and the garage is open enough that the air is fresh. When the unit was installed we noticed a gurgling noise, and when the tech came out and stated. "The standard filter we were using was starving the unit and pulling air through the drain pipe" their answer was to use a one of these filter link. Putting the vent in should take care of the native flow and I can switch back to a better filter and have fresh air to the system;). What do you thing?

Finally finished with all 38 pages. lol Good stuff Jsker. This thread really helps a lot on so many levels. Question, Did you QT any fish or coral? Has ich, marine velvet, or any of the many diseases been an issue for you in the last 2 years? Also what you think about adding miracle mud to the QT?

That's your ticket my friend. Your home is just to darn tight .... same issue a lot of folks have with the newer construction over the past 20 years or so.
Reefkeeper just saw your youtube on component 1,2,3 mix. Nicely done on the video. How long does that 5000L container last you?

It lasts me about a month and a half. I'm currently using about 100ml per day. [emoji4]

ouch not sure this feasible for me

at what point do you say ok enough is enough its calcium reactor time?

It's actually very inexpensive to mix your own.

Buying the dry components, mix up your own batch come out to like 10 bucks or something.

With buying the dry components etc you have enough to make up 3 batches. So that's all three jugs 3 times.

It's very inexpensive compared to others.

It you buy the prepackaged jugs , they cost like 50 bucks I think. So mixing your own is waayyyyyy cheaper lol.

As far as a calcium reactor... I'd say if I get to 250ml per day then it will be time. The investment into a calcium reactor and related equipment is a substantial investment.

It's a novel:D I have not QT any fish or corals, yes I had ich and treat the system. I feed vitamins to the fish. I see no reason to add miracle mud to the QT.
