Well my alk has finally balanced out and my ca is dropping to almost normal, but my mg is way low at 1200. Dosing up to 1400

Alk is still stead at 8.3
Mg 1500 I was using a Red sea kit and it gave me a reading of 1200 Thursday. My Aquaforest MG test kit ran out and I have been using the RedSea test kit and the number have been all over the place. Two of my test tested low so I went with it. I could not for the life of me find a Aquaforest test kit local so I went with a salifert MG test kit and tested high. I backed off of dosing MG
Ca 475 and backed off of dosing Ca slightly
Nitrates 5
Phosphates .02 with the reintroduction of Oysterfeast, and R.O.E and the corals are look happier.

With all the change that have been made in the past two months cyano had to rear its ugly head, and adding the extra aeration that is suggest for treatment.;)

Burt is now out mixing it up with the rest, he is a really good fit with the rest of the gang. The only time he is aggressive is during feeding time. He is a pig:).

I am pretty happy with the result of leaving the parameters alone :rolleyes: Been busy of late and I have not had time to mess with things. and that is a good thing:eek::D
Ca 449
Alk 7.6 bumped up dosing and dosed Kh buffer
Mg 1500 and that will fall back in line once the alk is back up
Nitrates we are going with a 10 ppm, the colors really have to go. Come on @Hanna Instruments
Phosphates .01 and I am going to let is ride and come back to .03 I think I am going to decrease the phosphate minus by half when I get a chance
Dt salinity .34 with the Hanna refractometer and has been steady for a few weeks now since I really know the Salinity My Apex is reading 37.9

The kids look happy and Sally need to be feed
