Hi guys
thank you for letting me join.
Here is my tank.
dkh 8
ph 8.0
phosphate 0.25
nitrate 20ppm
nitrite 0ppm
calcium 460ppm
ammonia 0
Salinity 1.025
marine saltwater aquarium uk
Setup 3 months ago
2 clownfish, 1 chalk goby (feeding well with frozen food), 1 blue damsel, 3 90 liter cude nano reef marine saltwater aquarium.
Clean up crew 3 trochus snails and 2 red leg hermit crabs
Struggling with nitrate and phosphate at the moment. Doing weekly water changes 15%.
Nitrate doesn't appear to be lowering
Above readings are after a water change with a 2 hour wait.
Any thoughts please guys?

Firstly, get ridda that blue damsel before he becomes a devil in your tank that will take hours of fishing to remove and return to the store because he’s too much of a menace.

Unless yours is chill, but they’re all pretty much jerks and will torture any new additions.

Otherwise your levels look pretty good, and don’t worry too much about the elevated nitrates because it’s still an establishing tank so there will always be fluctuations but nitrates and phosphates can tend to level themselves out.

But if it keeps going up continue to do the water changes and try raise the phosphates which will lower your nitrates.
